It reports to the NACC on matters related to the Fund\u2019s budget, in order to manage assets derived from corruption crimes. The Fund has full authority to conclude contracts and take all measures necessary with any entity, whether in the public or private sector, in Lebanon or abroad, to effectively perform the mission entrusted to it. It may receive donations or aid from internal or external parties, on the condition of publishing and disclosing the identity of the donors, and avoiding any conflict of interest or disruption of its wysisyg-description\">\r\n                        <p><ul>\n<li>Coordinate with all judicial, regulatory and security bodies, and the Special Investigation Commission stipulated in Law No. 44\/2015 with regard to prosecutions, reports and allegations related to corruption crimes and, more specifically, the recovery of assets derived from corruption crimes, provided they do not conflict with the powers reserved for the above-mentioned bodies under the applicable laws.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop strategies and plans regarding the assets\u2019 recovery process in general, in all its administrative and judicial stages, and any other related matter referred to it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Follow up on the assets\u2019 recovery process with the relevant administrative and judicial authorities, within the limits permitted by the laws and regulations of said authorities, while the Department reserves the right to obtain information on cases of recovery of assets derived from corruption, and provide any relevant information required until the Fund established under this Law assumes the management of these assets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recommend negotiation strategies and mechanisms, especially to the Litigation Department (Hay3at al Kadayaa) at the Ministry of Justice and the National Anti-Corruption Commission, regarding settlements, reconciliations, and agreements that would expedite and activate efforts to recover assets without necessarily resorting to litigation, and suggesting procedures for the same purpose.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Determine the challenges facing the recovery of assets, and recommend the necessary legislative and regulatory texts and legal and administrative measures to the competent authorities to address them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seek assistance, when necessary, from Lebanese or non-Lebanese natural or legal persons who are competent and experienced, based on a documented CV.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare, during the month of January of each year, a detailed annual report on its work in accordance with the provisions of the Right of Access to Information Law and its amendments, and publish the report on the website of the
