The Commission Participates in a Workshop on Assessing and Managing Criminal Risks in Countering the Use of Virtual Currencies and Assets

The Vice President of the Commission, Mr. Fawaz Kabbara, attended a workshop organized by the Council of Europe titled “Assessing and Managing Criminal Risks in Countering the Use of Virtual Currencies and Assets” at the Council of Europe’s Human Rights Centre in Strasbourg on June 12–13, 2025. The participants discussed the phenomenon of digital and virtual currencies and assets and their implications on anti-corruption efforts.
